What At-Home Teeth Whitening Involves

This process requires two trips to the dentist. After you've been cleared of treatment, we start by taking impressions of your teeth to send to the lab. Sometimes a messy process, but definitely worth it in the end! Plan on being with us for at least 30 minutes.

Once we receive your custom whitening trays from our dental lab, your second appointment is a piece of cake! We will try in your new trays, go over use and care instructions, check your starting tooth shade, and give some helpful tips so you can get the smile of your dreams. The rest will be up to you. We will send you home with your own set of trays and enough whitening to last you awhile.

Sensitivity is very normal for whitening procedures. If you're not used to it, we like to start our patient's off with a lower concentration of our bleaching gel. Once you're more adjusted and comfortable, we can give you a higher percentage so you can maintain that glowing smile. If you need a sensitive tooth paste, let our staff know and we'll get you started on that before you get the trays to further reduce your teeth sensitivity.
