Today, we use digital x-rays to capture important images of the hidden components of your mouth. Instead of radiation, digital x-rays use electronic technology. An electronic sensor is placed in your mouth. We angle it and have you bite down so that we can capture the necessary image. The sensor is attached to a computer. We click a button on the computer and your image is captured. In just a matter of seconds, the image is displayed right on the computer monitor.
